Context
In Laval, no Snoezelen hall was available. This white room is designed to allow handicapped persons to enjoy multisensorial experiences. 

Goal
The goal is to offer a site conducive to wonderment, relaxation and learning through the senses. 

A wide range of equipment is made available to the disabled to provide them stimulation. 

Among other devices: 

colored optic fiber 
interactive bubble tube 
image projector 
aroma diffuser 
touch and hearing stimulation panel 
wind panel 

vibration game
different lamps
music and different sounds
wall to wall mattress


How to sign up to the Snoezelen hall?
Persons wishing to benefit from this service must call the Marcelle and Jean Coutu Center directly and complete the corresponding reservation form.  All handicapped persons using this service must be accompanied by a carer.  Caregiving is free on weekends for the persons using the respite services or for the people using the respite facilities or who have joined an adapted recreational activity during the week.

Possible users of this service
As for the second model, the  Snoezelen room is offered first to all handicapped persons (children or adults) living in Laval and then to other persons residing outside the region.
